Shijing on the Chu Bamboo Slips of the Warring States Period Unearthed from Tomb M798 at Wangjiazui in Jingzhou of Hubei

荆州王家嘴798号战国墓出土的楚简《诗经》,大部分可以与今本《毛诗·国风》相对读,各篇皆有篇名,每篇分章清晰。简本《诗经》的篇次、用字与今本《毛诗·国风》均有不同程度的差异。王家嘴楚简《诗经》的出土,对于古文字释读和《诗经》文本的研究都有重要价值。

Shijing(the Classic of Songs)writen on bamboo slips of the Chu state were unearthed from M798,a tomb of the Warring States period,at the Wangjiazui site in Jingzhou City of Hubei Province.Most of the text can be cross-read with the present-day Maoshi(Mao's version of Shijing)Guofeng.Each chapter has its own title and is well organized and structured.The unearthed Shijing differs from the present-day Maoshi Guofeng,especially in chapter order and character selection.The discovery of Shijing on bamboo slips of the Chu state from the Wangjiazui site is of great significance to the interpretation of ancient texts and the analysis of texts in Shijing.
