刘咸炘对儒学发展史的反思与期待

Liu Xianxin's Reflection and Expectation on the History of the Development of Confucianism

刘咸炘《医喻》《左右》《同异》《流风》是一组分析中国儒学发展得失的文章。这一组文章是在横观偏正,纵究源流,站在明统知类,建中立极,综贯老子、孔子的学术宗旨的基础之上,拯救中国学术各趋极端,往而不返而开出的一剂药方。刘咸炘整合老、孔,发展与提升了儒学发展现代转型的新境界。他期待中国儒学史从非左即右、往而不返、争斗不息、别有所图的邪路上回归老子、孔子的太古之道。刘咸炘坚守先秦儒学的中观理想,对中国真正的自本自根的中国文化具有坚定的信仰。刘咸炘认为,异中有同,同中有异,包荒含弘,任天圆道,返本开新,才是中国儒学光明的未来。

The group of articles-"Medical Parables","Left and Right","Same and Different",and 1cgroup Der Academic Atmosphere"written by Liu Xianxin analyze the gains and losses of the development of Confucianism in China.To save Chinese academia from going to extremes and prescribe a prescription for Chinese academical circle,the articles are based on a horizontal view of the correctitude and the partiality,longitudinal study on the source,standing on the basis of exploring the essence,setting up the just way and top standard,and comprehensively integrating the academic purposes of Laozi and Confucius.All of his academic thoughts have developed and elevated the new realm of modern transformation of Confucianism.He expects that Chinese academic studies should return the ancient way of Laozi and Confucius from the partial path of either left or right which is indulging in exaggerations,arguing endlessly,or containing other intentions.Liu Xianxin sticks to the Mesoscopic ideal of pre-Qin Confucianism and has a firm belief in China's culture that has its own root.Liu Xianxin considers that the bright future of Chinese Confucianism should be like this:it keeps the principle of similarities contained in differences&differences included similarities,it is inclusive and profound,it follows the Natural Law and it gains the innovation from its root.
