作为一种学术思潮的“新子学”如何可能(上)

How Is It Possible That“New Zi Xue”Is Viewed as an Academic Thought(I)

从学理上讲,遵循中国传统哲学“更新再始”之思维逻辑所提出的“新子学”,应有着深刻的社会历史原因和呼应时代精神的思想目标,这构成了其作为一种学术思潮类似唐代古文运动、五四新文化运动等文化运动的类本质,同时成为“新子学”何以可能的普遍必然性之所在。唐代古文运动和五四新文化运动所以兴起的直接原因都是“世之弊”,但其深刻的历史原因和思想目标则都是对“天下一体”“天下为公”的自觉和追寻,都是顺应其时代精神的呼唤而出现。故此,“新子学”作为一种学术思潮当定位在孔子所论“富之”“教之”的社会发展阶段,应朝着构建和践行“人类命运共同体”的方向努力。

Logically,“New Zi Xue”,which was proposed to follow the principle of ancient Chinese philoso⁃phy,should have deep historical causes and responses to time spirit.This constitutes its essence as a kind of academic thought similar to the ancient prose movement of the Tang Dynasty,the May 4th New Culture Move⁃ment and other cultural movements,and at the same time becomes the universal inevitability of the possibility of“New Zi Xue”.Reflecting on the resemblance nature of ancient prose movement of the Tang Dynasty and the May 4th New Culture Movement,the direct reason of its produce rise is“decline of the world”,but the deeper one is the conscious search for ideal society of“whole world as one community”which is in accordance with the call of the spirit of the times.So as an academic trend of thought,“New Zi Xue”should be positioned in the stage of social development of“wealth”and“education”as described by Confucius,and strive to build and practice a“community with a shared future for mankind”.
