In the collaboration among the London Metropolitan Archives and University College London and other institutions,the Great Parchment Book,which was badly damaged by fire,was successfully restored in 3D.The project has a strong international impact.Based on literature,case and website re⁃search,the main characteristics of the Great Parch⁃ment Book project are summarized as always taking archival conservation and development into account,promoting archives restoration with crossover integra⁃tion,realizing digital reconstruction through techno⁃logical innovation,and leading revitalized presenta⁃tion with the concept of sharing.Combined with ar⁃chives work in our country,the following insights are summarized:applying digital technology to promoting the deep integration of conservation and develop⁃ment;promoting crossover cooperation to facilitate talent cultivation through project practice;expanding the value of archives to match diversified needs through living sharing.
