The cytology of joint cavity effusion is one of the most commonly used tests in clinical practice,and is of great significance in the diagnosis,differential diagnosis and guidance of treatment of joint diseases.This article introduces the purpose,specimen collection,test procedure and clinical significance of the cytology test for joint cavity effusion in order to standardise and normalize its operation and better utilize its clinical value.
