元宇宙“热”的冷思考——基于斯蒂格勒技术批判的研究

Reflection on the Hotly Debated Topic of Metaverse--on the Basis of Stiegler's Critique of Technics

理解人与技术的关系、揭示技术发展的趋势以及分析技术发展的后果,是当前元宇宙“热”迫使人类重新思考的基础性问题之一。作为西方马克思主义工具理性批判的当代继承者,法国左翼思想家斯蒂格勒从人类固有的“缺陷存在”和“代具性”的本质特征出发,引出作为“后种系生成”的技术,进而重新解读“人的发明”这一命题,建立起技术和人的新关系;通过描述“什么”对“谁”的取代、“第三记忆”对“第一记忆”和“第二记忆”的取代及“机器记忆”对“个体记忆”和“种族记忆”的取代,揭示未来技术发展的趋势;通过辨析客观维度的工业时间客体的生产和超工业编码体系的形成,强调技术发展将造成主观维度的系统性愚昧和无产阶级化。

Currently,the hot discussion on Metaverse prompts us to rethink the fundamental problem the relationship between human and technology,he tendency and the consequence of the technological development.As a left-wing thinker in France and a contemporary successor of instrumental reason criticism of western Marxism,Stiegler proposes human's affinity with technology through describing the essential characteristics of human as"defect"and“prosthesis”,and introducing technology as“post-genesis”;depicts the technological trend that“what”replaces“who”,“tertiary memory”replaces“primary memory”and“secondary memory”,“machine memory”replaces“individual memory”and“racial memory”;and points out the objective and subjective consequence caused by the development of modern technology that the production of industrial temporal objects and the formation of hyper-industrial coding system will lead to systematic ignorance and proletarianization.
