摘要
2002年夏天,798还只是一个处于北京后工业时代.和大多数其他老企业有着相同命运.濒临倒闭的老工厂。但个别艺术家的入住,给颓废破败的工厂带来了新鲜的气息。我当时敏感地预测,随着中国当代艺术在国际上的迅速发展.798将会变成一个引人关注的地方。于是开始关注并拍摄798。
I chanced to discover Beijing's 798 art district in the summer of 2002.798 was at that time an old losing down in the post-industrial era.The settlement of some artists refreshed the decaying air,and I saw at the moment its potential as a bright stage for Chinese contemporary art in the future,so I began to take photos there.
