摘要
美国国会图书馆发布的最新数字馆藏发展战略为我国图书馆数字馆藏提供了先进的经验及启示。由于热门书籍的供不应求、古籍等珍贵文献不便于外借、馆藏空间局限性等诸多因素,使得馆藏纸本书籍已不能完全满足读者不断增长的多元化需求,而数字馆藏因其非消耗性使用、多人同时借阅、易于保存、移动便携等优势,越来越受到图书馆和读者的喜爱,为适应新时代发展的需求,我国数字馆藏也应制定连贯一致的总体战略。
The latest digital collection development strategy released by the Library of Congress will offer advanced ex⁃periences and enlightenments for digital collection of Chinese libraries.Due to the insufficient supply of pop⁃ular books,the inconvenience of loaning precious ancient books,the limitation of collection space and other factors,the paper books in the library can no longer fully meet the increasing requirements of readers.To solve these shortcomings,digital collections are increasingly favored by libraries and readers due to their ad⁃vantages of non-expendable use,simultaneous borrowing,easy preservation and,mobile portability.To meet the needs of the library development in the new era,an overall strategy for the digital collection should be created,managed and integrated in a coherent manner.
