Cuba differs from other socialist countries in that it is located in the“backyard”of the United States and is the only country in the Western Hemisphere governed by the Communist Party.Not only is it facing a blockade from the United States,but some neighboring Latin American countries are also exerting pressure on it.In addition,economy of Cuba’s economic structure is relatively simple,its economic development level has been not high,and people’s living standards are relatively poor.Faced with the severe domestic and international environment,the Communist Party of Cuba has always adhered to the principle of never falling the red flag,maintained its unwavering ruling position,and has high credibility among the people.
