Environmental risk analysis of offshore oil and gas development projects is an important topic in the process of environmental impact assessment of offshore oil and gas development projects,the complexity of which depends on the determination of environmental risk assessment level.Environmental risk potential is an important basis to judge the level of environmental risk assessment.This paper summarizes the working procedure and technical route of environmental risk potential in offshore oil and gas development projects.Analyze the environmental events that may be caused by the risk sources in the offshore construction,production and operation of offshore oil and gas development projects and the corresponding environmental protection emergency measures.Taking offshore oil and gas development project as a case,the application method for determining the environmental risk potential level is discussed for offshore oil and gas development project.
