Inheritance and Perseverance in Turbulent Times:A Review of Russian Theatrical Performances in 2022

一个国家的艺术环境甚至社会的整体状态和该国所处的时代环境与社会氛围息息相关。俄乌冲突自2022年2月下旬全面爆发以来,俄罗斯国内受到了强烈且广泛的冲击,其一直傲居全球的戏剧艺术亦未能幸免。俄罗斯的戏剧艺术在2022年呈现出了“动荡”的整体表现。受此“动荡”影响,2022年度的俄罗斯戏剧舞台演出可以用“更替”“出走”“乏力”“坚守与传承”“力量和信心”等几个关键词来概括总结。但我们有理由相信,俄罗斯戏剧艺术绝不会就此沉沦。经此“动荡”,却似一番洗牌调整,于坚守和传承中留下的是真正强大的俄罗斯戏剧艺术的回归。

The artistic environment of a country,and even the social situation is closely related to its era and social atmosphere.Since the outbreak of the“Russia-Ukraine conflict”in late February 2022,Russia has been strongly and widely impacted,and its“strong subject”in the world,theatre arts,has not been spared.In 2022,Russia's theatre arts,which presented a“turbulent”overall performance,can be summarized with key words such as“replacement”,“departure”,“fatigue”,“perseverance and inheritance”,and“strength and confidence”.However,we have reason to believe that Russian theatre arts,with its solid foundation and the spirit of perseverance and inheritance,will not sink in turbulent times.Instead,after a reshuffle,hopes are high for Russian theatre's return to glory.
