Qu Qiubai paid a lot of efforts and played an important role in the translation and dissemination of Marxist-Leninist literary theory in China.He made a significant contribution to this systematic project.Based on historical researches and textual analysis,this paper reorganizes and analyzes Qu Qiubai' s translation of Marxist-Leninist literary theory from the aspects of translation cause,content,mode,and influence.It is found that Qu Qiubai's translation of Marxist-Leninist literary theory has its profound background and its own motive.He interprets and disseminates Marxist-Leninist literary theory by translation,which helps to construct a localized theoretical system,renovate Marxist-Leninist literary theory in China and exert a lasting and far-reaching influence.
