本土故事是依附特定区域的自然生境与社会生境产生并承传的,具有“在地”“在场”的可感性。本土故事以其保留的原生地场景,为我们提供了“别一种”感知地方、建构知识、思想与智慧的可能。与通识意义上的现代叙事比较,本土故事的价值与魅力在于能够导引我们进入具体的生活世界,进而从故事中的“地方”镜像发现“故事里的中国”,建立起过去、现在与未来之间的文化链接。随着新的地缘文化审视与研究的展开,对本土故事的概念及其内涵应重新审视并理性认知,基于这一视域,本土故事或可再次将“地方”照亮,成为理解“地方”乃至现代中国的切入点,而“故事里的中国”也将成为极富现代意味的“时尚”表述。
