Objective To study the accuracy rate of the"Assessment of Disorders of Consciousness"program based on the Coma Recovery Scale-Revised(CRS-R)among people without disorders of consciousness(DOC)related background, and to recommend the users of the program. Methods A total of 110 subjects without DOC related background were selected, and the patients with DOC were evaluated using the program. The time required for evaluation and the conclusion were recorded. After the evaluation, questionnaires were filled in to analyze the accuracy rate of evaluation and the factors affecting the accuracy rate. Results The average time of using the program was(190.4±115.4)s.The results of 94 cases were consistent with the results of professional evaluation, and the correct rate was 85.45%.The factors affecting the correct rate included the educational level of the user and the consciousness state of the patients(P<0.05).The higher the educational level of the user, the higher the correct rate of the program.Patients in vegetative state had lower accuracy than those in other conscious states. Conclusion The accuracy rate of the"Assessment of consciousness disorders"program is high for people without DOC related background. It is recommended that those with high school education and above could use the program to screen the consciousness state of patients.
