基于人工智能的语言教育研究:国际进展与前瞻

Research on Artificial Intelligence in Language Education:International progress and prospects

本文采用文献计量与内容分析相结合的方法,对20世纪80年代以来国际上基于人工智能的语言教育研究进行梳理分析。结果显示:基于人工智能的语言教育研究热点包括语言智能系统开发应用、机器人辅助语言学习、语言教育课程改革和语言学习效应,研究发展趋势包括语言学习系统从基础研发转向综合应用、语言学习分析技术从语料库开发到AI神经网络建构、语言教育信息化模式从CALL发展为RALL。未来需加强跨学科合作,助力语言教育智能化技术开发;深化人工智能与语言教育整合,推进语言智慧教育;合理利用语言教育大数据,实施智能化学本评估;运用循证理念,开展基于人工智能的语言教育效应研究。

This paper employs the methods of bibliometrics and content analysis to review and analyze the international research on Artificial Intelligence in Language Education(AILEd)since the 1980s.The results show that the research hotspots of AILEd include the development and application of language intelligent learning systems,robot-assisted language learning(RALL),language education curriculum reform and language learning effects.The development trends of AILEd are as follows:studies on language learning systems have changed from basic research and development to comprehensive application,studies on language learning analysis have shifted from corpus development to AI neural network construction,and studies on language education informationization modes have transformed from CALL to RALL.In the future,interdisciplinary cooperation should be strengthened to facilitate the development of intelligent technology in language education,the integration of AI and language education should be deepened to promote smart language education,big data in language education should be made good use of to implement intelligent learning-oriented assessment,and the effects of AILEd should be examined using evidencebased concepts.
