西北农林科技大学畜牧学学科坚持立德树人根本任务,牢记为党育人、为国育才初心使命,围绕“新农科”建设,紧抓“四大举措”、聚焦“四个关键”、统筹“五方力量”,全面提升人才培养质量,打造畜牧人才培养新高地,为国家培养了一大批理想信念坚定、畜牧情怀深厚、基础理论扎实、创新能力突出、国际竞争力强的卓越畜牧人才。

The animal husbandry discipline at Northwest A&F University adheres to the fundamental task of cultivating students with high moral character,always remembering its original mission of educating for the Party and nurturing talent for the country.Focusing on the construction of“New Agriculture Science,”it has seized upon the“Four Major Initiatives”,focused on the“Four Key Points,”coordinated the“Five Forces,”and comprehensively improved the quality of talent training.This has led to the creation of a new high ground for the training of animal science talents,and has produced a large number of outstanding animal science professionals who possess strong ideals and beliefs,a deep understanding of animal husbandry,solid theoretical foundations,outstanding innovation capabilities,and strong international competitiveness.
