Liaoshen campaign spirit is the precious spiritual wealth left in the arduous Liberation War,and it is also the“living textbook”of red culture education.Applying the campaign spirit of Liaoshen in the new era and casting the red gene into the construction of ideological and political courses in primary and middle schools is conducive to building the belief foundation of patriotism,boosting the firm faith in the Party loyalty,helping to harden the indomitable will for decisive battles,understanding the fearless spirit of revolutionary heroism,and the red mark led by standard values,and keeping to the mission of victory.At present,there are still many practical challenges in the process of casting red genes into ideological and political lessons in primary and middle schools.Facing such problems as the urgent need to put the objectives in place,the course content to be tapped,the teaching process to be connected,and the collaboration of teachers to be improved,we shall build the strategy of combining regional characteristics,integrating the red genes,telling the red stories,continuing the red veins,enriching social research,tapping the red resources,cultivating the awareness of collaboration,and enhancing the teaching skills,so as to form an overall joint force and promote the inclusion of red genes in the ideological and political courses in universities and primary schools in a coordinated manner,and thus improve the actual effect of education.
