张忠德辨治变应性鼻炎经验撷要

Experience of Professor ZHANG Zhongde in Treating Allergic Rhinitis

张忠德教授根据变应性鼻炎的临床特点,提出该病是由于阳气不足,风邪挟他邪上犯鼻窍,以致鼻窍不通而发。以阳虚为本,与肺脾肾密切相关。治疗上,张教授提出以分期辨治为根本,急性发作期治以疏风通窍、宣肺收涕,多用苍耳子、白芷药对,慢性缓解期以平调五脏为大法;同时结合季节因时辨治,冬季重温肾,春季重肺脾卫表,兼顾疏肝,夏季多用芳香药,秋季重滋阴润燥。

According to the clinical characteristics of allergic rhinitis(AR),Professor ZHANG Zhongde points out that AR is caused by yang deficiency,with wind evil carrying other evil to invade the nasal orifices,resulting in the obstruction of the nasal orifices.The root for AR is yang deficiency which is closely related to the lung,spleen and kidney.Professor ZHANG Zhongde proposes that the treatment of AR should be based on different stages,that is,in the acute attacking stage,AR should be treated with dispersing wind and unblocking orifices,ventilating lung and removing nasal mucus,usually the medicinal pair of Cang’erzi(Xanthii Fructus)and Baizhi(Angelicae Dahuricae Radix),while in the chronic relieving stage,AR should be treated with balancing and harmonizing five viscera.Besides,treatment based on syndrome differentiation should also be applied in accordance with seasons,that is,in winter,warming kidney should be emphasized,in spring,lung,spleen and defensive surface should be emphasized accompanied with dredging liver,in summer,aromatic medicinals are usually applied,and in autumn,nourishing yin and moistening dryness should be emphasized.
