“Irritability and anxiety state in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)”is an abnormal psychological disorder with anxiety and irritability as the major manifestations.Acupuncture is effective in the treatment of irritability and anxiety state in TCM.Resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI)is an effective method to study the underlying mechanism because of its advantages such as non-invasive and high spatial resolution.By reviewing recent research results in China and abroad, starting from the common analysis methods of rs-fMRI such as local consistency analysis,low-frequency amplitude analysis, and functional connection of brain regions, the application status of rs-fMRI in the treatment of insomnia,anxiety,pain-related adverse psychological state, depression and other diseases related to irritability and anxiety in TCM was summarized, and the prospects of multidisciplinary and multi-dimensional in-depth research was also explored,so as to provide references for future research.Fifty seven research papers are cited as references.
