摘要
小说《别让我走》为日裔英国作家石黑一雄的经典之作,讲述了凯西等一群以器官捐献为目的而诞生的克隆人的生活经历,以反乌托邦的形式探索了克隆人和器官移植等现代医疗技术中的人类伦理困境。透过伦理学批评视角,本文结合小说文本,着重探讨了生物医学技术制造克隆人所带来的医学伦理秩序失范和生命伦理秩序混乱的局面,剖析了将克隆人作为器官移植供体而产生的医学伦理问题,进一步发掘了作家对伦理秩序重建的探索。
Never Let Me Go is a science fiction written by the Japanese⁃born British author Kazuo Ish⁃iguro,telling the life story about a group of clonesliving as organ donors.The novel tries to ex⁃plore ethical issues caused by human cloning and organ transplanting in modern medical tech⁃nology with a dystopia form.From the perspective of ethical literary criticism,this paper tends to reveal the possibility of disorder and chaos in both medical ethics and bioethics caused by human cloning techniques,analyze the medical ethics issues produced by using clone man as organ donors,and further discuss the author's effort for the restoration of ethical order.All the explorations will improve our appreciation on the practical and philosophical value of this novel.
