2021年陆军数字化转型战略和2019年陆军现代化战略明确指出,云是美陆军现代化的基础。利用云计算的能力,美陆军将减少地面作战人员网络的数字足迹,并整合服务以实现多域作战。2022年10月11日,美陆军公布2022年陆军云计划,取代2020年的计划。该计划提供了一张路线图和衡量陆军云计划进展的指标,并将帮助陆军实现更接近其数字现代化的目标,以及将关键服务整合到整个企业的云环境中。同时,帮助陆军保持对美国近邻对手的数字优势,实施一个全球架构,并实现可持续的战略目标。

The Army’s 2021 Digital Transformation Strategy and the Army’s 2019 Modernization Strategy clearly state that the cloud is the foundation of U.S.Army modernization.Through using the cloud computing capabilities,the U.S.Army will reduce the digital footprint of its ground warfighter network and consolidate services for multi-domain operations.On October 11,2022,the U.S.Army unveiled the 2022 Army Cloud Initiative,replacing the 2020 initiative,which provides a roadmap and metrics to measure progress in the Army Cloud initiative and will help the Army move closer to its goal of digital modernization and integrating critical services into the cloud environments across the enterprise.At the same time,helping maintain a digital advantage over U.S.adversaries near abroad,implement a global architecture,and achieve sustainable strategic goals.
