岗巴县位于喜马拉雅山中段北麓,介于88°08′20″E~88°56′47″E,27°56′32″N~28°45′27″N之间,其低纬度、高海拔的地理优势为其种植青稞创造了良好的条件。在西藏高海拔青稞良种推广方面取得了显著的成绩,增产效益明显、经济效益突出,为该地区粮食产量的提高提供了重要的依据。分析了岗巴县的地理环境特征,结合该地区青稞种植存在的常见问题,阐述了岗巴县青稞良种推广的重要性和必要性。

Gangba County was located at the north foot of the middle section of the Himalayas,between 88°08′20″~88°56′47″E and 27°56′32″~28°45′27″N,and its geographical advantages of low latitude and high altitude create good conditions for its planting of highland barley.Significant achievements have been made in the promotion of improved varieties of highland barley at high altitude in Xizang,with obvious yield increase and economic benefits,providing an important basis for the improvement of grain production in the region.Analyzed the geographical environment characteristics of Gangba County,and combined with the common problems of highland barley planting in this area,elaborated the importance and necessity of the promotion of highland barley varieties in Gangba County.
