新千年之夜的警钟——论村上春树的短篇小说《蓝色消失》

《蓝色消失》描写新千年之夜“我”发现蓝色消失后的情形,这使得小说中蓝色的象征性成为一个重要的研究焦点。由于村上春树在写作中一直逃离语言和符号的所指,并有单纯注重符号本身的倾向,因此先行研究在现阶段并没有对小说中蓝色的象征意义做出令人信服的解释。从蓝色消失后白色的描写、“我”所联想到的斯大林格勒保卫战以及西班牙与蓝色的关系等对蓝色之象征性的生成进行分析。在得出蓝色象征记忆的同时,对如何利用小说中的线索,探究作品中具有作家独特性的象征这一问题进行了尝试。

Losing Blue depicts the situation after"I"discovered the disappearance of the blue color on the night of the Millennium,which makes the symbolism of the blue color in the novel an important focus of research.Since Haruki Murakami has always escaped from the meaning of language and symbols in his writing and has a tendency to focus solely on the symbols themselves,prior research has not provided a convincing explanation of the symbolic meaning of blue in the novel.This paper analyzes the generation of blue symbolism in terms of the depiction of white after the disappearance of blue,the battle of Stalingrad that"I"associate with it,and the relationship between Spain and blue.While concluding that blue is a symbolic memory,the paper also tries to explore how to use the clues in the novel to explore the symbols in the work that are unique to the writer.
