According to National Medical Products Administration,a total of 42 new raw materials were put on records in 2022,a 7-fold increase comparing with that in 2021.The Q3 of 2022 also saw the“high season”of new raw materials.In July,in particular,there were 8 new raw materials which received approval.In both August and September,there were 6 new raw materials that completed filing respectively.An array of unique raw materials from animals and plants,as well as fermented raw materials are noticed by the common people,showing the breakthrough and development of the raw materials concerning Chinese cosmetics.It also mirrors the raw material development and application trends in 2023 to a certain extent.
