Game Between Perceived Benefits and Privacy Risks in Screenshot Interaction Among Young People

在日常的社交媒体互动中,为了方便信息传递并消除线上交流的歧义,人们时常将聊天截图作为辅助交流工具,但聊天截图分享意味着将涉及个人隐私的信息对外披露。青年人群在交流过程中如何权衡聊天截图分享的便利性与可能存在的隐私风险,是值得研究的问题。文章从隐私计算理论的视角出发,通过对397名青年的调查,探寻影响青年群体聊天截图分享行为的因素。研究发现,青年群体的截图社交意愿与他们对分享对象的情感信任呈正相关,而感知工具收益和情感收益是其中重要的中介变量。人们对隐私风险的感知影响着青年群体情感信任与收益感知之间的关系。整体而言,青年人群将聊天截图分享视为基于情感信任的选择性社交行为,但聊天截图分享所带来的隐私风险感知在一定程度上影响他们对分享行为的收益感知。人们在分享聊天截图时会权衡收益与风险,同时,不能忽视社交媒体平台中的传播伦理问题。

People often use chat screenshots as an auxiliary communication tool to facilitate information transmission and eliminate ambiguity in online communication.However,sharing chat screenshots also means disclosing private conversations,which involves the disclosure of personal privacy information.It is worth studying how young people balance the convenience of sharing chat screenshots and the possible privacy risks in their communication.From the perspective of privacy computing theory,this study conducts a survey of 397 young people to explore the factors that influence the chat screenshot sharing behavior.The study finds that the willingness of young people to engage in screenshot socialization is positively correlated with their emotional trust in the sharing object,and perceived tool benefits and emotional benefits are important intermediate variables.People’s perception of privacy risks influences the relationship between emotional trust and perceived benefits.Overall,young people view chat screenshot sharing as a selective social behavior based on emotional trust,but the perception of privacy risks will affect their perception of the benefits of sharing behavior to some extent.This study suggests that people need to balance benefits and risks in sharing chat screenshots,while paying attention to the issue of dissemination ethics on social media platforms.
