Accelerating High-quality Development of Higher Agricultural Education in the New Era:Thoughts and Practice

面向国家重大战略需求,推动高等农林教育高质量发展是新时代赋予高等农林教育的历史使命。文章分析了新时代高等农林教育面临的新形势、新任务,并以南京农业大学为例,总结其120年来在发展农林教育方面取得的突出成效,指出新时代农林院校加快高质量发展的路径包括:树立更加主动的对外教育开放观,深化学科专业建设,强化有组织的科研,着力推进内涵式发展,积极对接乡村振兴战略,推进新农科教育加快发展。

It is the historical mission of higher agriculture and forestry education in the new era to promote its high quality development in line with the major strategic needs of the country.This paper analyzes the new situation and tasks of higher agriculture and forestry education in the new era.Taking Nanjing Agricultural University as an example,it summarizes the outstanding achievements it has made in the development of agriculture and forestry education in the past 120 years.The paper puts forward that the ways to accelerate the high quality development of agricultural and forestry colleges in the new era include:establishing a more active concept of opening up to international education,deepening the construction of disciplines and specialties,strengthening organized scientific research,promoting connotation development,actively connecting with the strategy of rural revitalization,and accelerating the development of new agricultural education.
