Mining and analysis of the evolution of science popularization policy themes based on the LDA

本文以1994-2022年期间颁布的科普政策为研究对象,根据政策目标、内容和主体等要素进行阶段性划分。通过LDA主题模型挖掘不同时期的政策主题,运用可视化方法对其主题强度变化和演化路径进行展示,总结科普政策的结构特征和发展趋势。研究发现:从普及科学知识到提高科学素质阶段科普政策主题集中于少数民族自治、科普重点人群和重点工程、环境治理等方向;以提升科学素质为核心阶段的科普政策主题集中在产业创新、科技人才、政府决策等方面;科学普及与科技创新两翼齐飞阶段的科普政策主题以科技创新、健康服务、安全文化等为核心。这些研究主题相互交叉、相互联系,形成了一个稳定的研究系统,为后续科普政策研究发展指明了方向。

This paper takes the science popularization policy promulgated from 1994 to 2022 as the research object,as well as divides them in stages according to the policy objectives,content and subjects.Through the LDA theme model,the policy themes in different periods are explored,and they can display the changes in the intensity and evolution path of their themes by using the visual method.Finally,the paper summarizes the structural characteristics and development trends of science popularization policy.There are some conclusions to be drawn from the research.The topics of science popularization policy from popularizing scientific knowledge to improving the scientific quality focus on ethnic minority autonomy,key groups and projects of popular science,environmental governance and other directions.The themes of science popularization policy with improving the scientific quality as the core stage chiefly focus on industrial innovation,scientific and technological talents,and government decision-making.The themes of science popularization policy on the stage of science popularization and scientific and technological innovation take scientific and technological innovation,health services,and safety culture as the core.These themes are intersecting and interrelated,while at the same time,they develop a stable research system.Above all,the research may provide guidance for the further development of the science popularization policy research.
