Ink and wash elements are one of the unique visual symbols of traditional Chinese culture,which have important cultural heritage and spiritual connotations.There are a variety of traditional Chinese elements,and ink elements are among the best among classic elements.After long-term development,they are deeply loved by people.Posters are a way of conveying information through an“instant”form of artistic expression,while possessing both artistic and practical qualities,which can demonstrate the ability of advertising and promotion in specific fields.This article mainly discusses the principles of expression and image transmission in the combination of ink and wash elements and poster design.Through understanding and inheriting ink and wash elements,it can be used in modern poster design.
