This paper introduces a cable clamp(four-wire)by directionally modified for meter installation,which is suitable for the use in power connection of meter installation.In order to complete the live operation of the installation and removal of the meter safely,fast and efficiently,and avoid using metal clamps to pull hard and cause damage to the cable insulation layer,a clamp can be designed to fix four cables of the meter,especially to fix firing lines that go into the meter,so as to prevent live firing wires from contacting the metal meter box and leading to the accidents of ignition and personal electric shock,ensure the construction safety of meter installation and removal,and promote the long-term development of power engineering.
