On the Major Principles Required in Building Socialist Modernization in an All-round Way

党的二十大报告第一次系统提出了全面建设社会主义现代化必须牢牢把握的五大重大原则,即必须坚持和加强党的全面领导、坚持中国特色社会主义道路、坚持以人民为中心的发展思想、坚持深化改革开放、坚持发扬斗争精神。这五大原则具有深刻的内在逻辑和理论内涵,是在历史与现实、理论与实践中对党的百年奋斗历程经验的具体运用和逻辑展开,规定了中国式现代化的政治前提、政治方向、价值目标、实践方法和动力来源,为实现社会主义现代化强国目标提供了根本遵循和理论指导。

The Report of the Party′s 20th National Congress,for the first time,systematically put forward five major principles required in comprehensively building socialist modernization,namely,upholding and strengthening the Party′s overall leadership,adhering to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the thought of people-centered development,deepening reform and opening up,and carrying forward the spirit of struggle.These five major principles with profound internal logic and theoretical connotations,result from the specific application and logical development of the Party′s experience in the course of its century-old struggle in history and reality and in theory and practice.They define the political premise,political direction,value goal,practice method and power source of the Chinese-style modernization,and provide fundamental compliance and theoretical guidance for realizing the goal of becoming a modern socialist country.
