In order to consolidate students’foundation in English language learning and comprehensively improve their comprehensive pragmatic ability and English learning level,the article starts from analyzing the definition and classification of lexical chunk teaching,and explores the effective application methods and practical paths of lexical chunk teaching in junior high school English vocabulary teaching,listening teaching,oral teaching and reading teaching,aiming at achieving the goal of quality education to improve students’language acquisition rate and promoting students’English core literacy through the in depth development of the advantages of lexical chunk teaching mode.
