摘要
全译之轴是转化,转化之魂是“化”。“化”的内涵体现在它反映全译行为的本质属性,与文字学、哲学、美学中的“化”一脉通连、彼此呼应;“化”的外延指译者在处理形义矛盾时采取的对、增、减、移、换、分、合七种手段及其相应的方法和技巧。
The axis of complete translation is transformation,whose quintessence is in sublimation.In terms of connotation,sublimation,as the intrinsic nature of complete translation,shares interrelated and mutually denotative meanings with the Chinese word“化”in philology,philosophy and aesthetics.In terms of denotation,sublimation refers to the translator's various means of dealing with the contradiction between form and meaning in the source language and target language,including corresponding,adding,reducing,transferring,converting,dividing and combining as well as concrete methods and skills.
