meige syndrome,also known as blepharospasm-oromandibular dystonia syndrome,has often been misdiagnosed as hemifacial spasm and other diseases because it is mainly manifested as the facial muscles twitching and double blepharospasm.Through years of clinical practice,Professor Zhang Hong condensed the experience of treating meige syndrome from the theory of"spleen deficiency and liver depression",and concised the method of Qufeng Guben for the treatment of meige syndrome.This method is effective in the long-term treatment of patients with meige syndrome.This article analyzes and summarizes Professor Zhang Hong's clinical thinking in the comprehensive differentiation and treatment of Meige syndrome based on the theory of"Spleen deficiency and Liver depression",hoping to provide reference for the clinical treatment of meige syndrome.
