基于多模态话语分析冬奥会语言景观对北京市语言景观的启示——以前门大栅栏地区为例

Research on the Implications of the Winter Olympics'Linguistic Landscape for Beijing Based on Multimodal Discourse Analysis—A Case Study of Qianmen Da Shi Lar

冬奥会作为自疫情以来我国开展的影响力最广的国际体育竞赛,在其期间城市语言景观的构建为我国语言景观研究带来了新的启示。该文基于公共空间中的多语及多模态沟通现象,以冬奥会为参照,以北京前门大栅栏地区为对照,对其语言景观的多模态话语体系、构建原则进行调查分析。研究发现,在多模态话语体系中,不同模态语言景观的形式特征相互关联,共同体现话语意义,并与社会空间存在不同程度的互动关系。除此之外,政府的语言管理与语言服务在语言景观的构建过程中发挥了重要作用,在国际化及多元文化交流的社会环境下,冬奥会语言景观将对未来北京市地区语言景观规划具有重要借鉴意义。

As the most influential international sports competition carried out in China since Covid-19,the construction of the urban linguistic landscape during the Winter Olympics brings new insights to the study of linguistic landscapes in China.Based on multilingualism and multimodal communication in public space,this paper analyzes the multimodal discourse system and principles of the construction of linguistic landscape in the Qianmen Da Shi Lar area regarding the Winter Olympics.The study finds that in the multimodal discourse system,the features of different modalities are interrelated,jointly conveying meaning,and interacting with the social space to varying degrees.In addition,the government's language management and services play an important role in the construction of the linguistic landscape.In an international and multicultural social environment,the linguistic landscape of the Winter Olympics will have important implications for the future planning of the linguistic landscape in Beijing.
