教育场域下广州大学城语言景观研究

A Study of Linguistic Landscape in Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center in the Educational Field

该文抽取广州大学城内5所高校,运用拍摄手段收集了3752个语言景观样本,从语种性质、语种数量、语种类型、语码优先4方面对语言景观样本展开了分析。经分析发现:语种性质上,大学城语言景观超一半的语言标识为多语标识,形成了一定的多语环境;语种数量多为1—2种,语种类型多是汉、汉—英两种,汉语优先是主要的语码优先类型。该文还对大学城语言景观的主题内容进行了分类分析,探讨了大学城语言景观的受众取向;同时发现大学城中很多重要的语言标识,如安全警示类并没有进行双语化,以及路名、街名等标识上的翻译未进行统一等,未来还有待改善。

This paper takes Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center as the research object,and collects 3752 corpus samples from 5 universities in the university town through a photographic method.The linguistic landscape samples are analyzed from four aspects:language status,language quantity,language type and code priority.It is found that more than half of the language signs in the linguistic landscape of university town are multilingual signs,forming a certain multilingual environment;the number of languages is mostly 1-2,and the language types are mostly Chinese and Chinese-English.Chinese priority is the main code priority type.The article also classifies and analyzes the theme content of the linguistic landscape of the university town,and discusses the audience orientation of the linguistic landscape of the university town.At the same time,it is found that many important language signs in the university town,such as safety warnings,are not bilingualized,and the translation of road names,street names and other signs is not unified,which needs to be improved in the future.
