Pressure vessel is an indispensable auxiliary tool in the chemical industry.Its mate-rial selection directly affects the transportation cost and processing and manufacturing cost.More importantly,it largely determines the safety and stability in the use process.Based on this,this paper will briefly describe the principles and basis that pressure vessels need to know during material selection,study their material selection methods,and formulate scientific and reasonable design plans,which are committed to reducing unnecessary waste and loss,improv-ing overall efficiency,and further promoting the development of the industry.
