Automation technology has become a normal in the field of modern machinery de-sign,which has further changed the traditional machinery design and technology application,and improved the overall production efficiency.This paper firstly analyzes the value of automa-tion technology applied in mechanical design and manufacturing,then introduces the applica-tion principle of automation technology in mechanical design and manufacturing,and finally in-troduces the specific application of automation technology in mechanical design and manufactur-ing,including integrated application,flexible technology and automation technology,hoping to provide effective reference for relevant people.
