超验的在场:虚拟现实新闻的认知、体验与行动研究

虚拟现实由于颠覆了传统新闻的用户认知体验而被称为“终极的媒介技术”,然而学界对用户的认知规律尚缺少系统的研究。本文以新近推出的两部虚拟现实新闻作品为分析对象,采用心理学控制实验和E-prime反应时测试的方法,探索用户的虚拟现实新闻体验和认知态度。研究发现,个体沉浸度显著影响了虚拟现实新闻作品的体验,而先前的设备使用经验和对新闻内容的熟悉程度并未显著影响观看新闻作品时的沉浸体验。通过营造沉浸体验、在场感和同理心,用户建构起对虚拟现实作品体验质量的感知,进而形成对新闻故事真实度和信任度的态度结构,并共同作用于用户的持续使用意愿。此外,文章还对不同叙事方式的虚拟现实新闻作品的用户体验进行了探讨。

Due to its disruption to traditional news consumption experiences,virtual reality is labelled as“the ultimate media technology”.However,systematic research on its users'perception is still inadequate to some extent.By using two newly published virtual reality news works as stimuli and conducting psychological experiments to measure reaction time with E-prime,this paper has investigated the experiences and cognitive attitudes during consuming virtual reality news.We have found that individual immersive level significantly affects the experiences of watching virtual reality news works,while previous knowledge of virtual reality device and news content do not have an effect.Through establishing immersive experience,presence,and empathy,news users perceive the quality of virtual reality news,and then form their attitudes towards the truthfulness and credibility of virtual reality news.These factors jointly determine users'willingness to further virtual reality news consumption.Additionally,this paper has also explored the influences of different narratives on users'experiences during watching virtual reality news works.
