The Revolutionary Practice of the First Xiangxi Branch of the Communist Party of China and Its Contemporary Enlightenment

1924年12月,在国民大革命的影响和麻阳县共产党人的努力下,中国共产党湘西第一支部宣布成立(简称“特支”)后,开展了一系列革命活动,如创办进步刊物、举办平民夜校、壮大组织力量、成立农民协会、创建农村革命根据地、迎接北伐军过境等,为湘西革命作出了突出贡献。新时代下,要善于从党的历史中汲取智慧,加强党的意识形态工作,抓好对党员的教育管理,坚持党的群众路线及实事求是的思想路线,增强大局观念,充分发挥好基层党支部的战斗堡垒作用。

In December 1924,under the influence of the National Revolution and the eforts of the Communists of Mayang County,the first Xiangxi Branch of the Communist Party of China announced its establishment("Special Branch"for short).After the establishment of the Special Branch,it carried out a series of revolutionary activities,such as founding progressive journals,holding night schools for civilians,expanding the organizational force,setting up peasant associations,and establishing rural revolutionary bases to welcome the Northern Lumber logging Army's transit,making outstanding contributions to the revolution in western Hunan.In the new era,we must be good at drawing wisdom from the party's history,strengthen the party's ideological work,do a good job in the development of party members and education management,adhere to the party's mass line,adhere to the ideological line of seeking truth from facts,strengthen the concept of the overall situation,and give full play to the role of grassroots party branches as fighting fortresses.
