Dai benxiao is a noble and self-conscious remnant painter.His landscape paintings take scenic spots as the basis of creation,have a unique style and a strong exploration spirit.Therefore,Dai benxiao has become the backbone of Xin'an painting school.As one of the important schools in the history of art,Xin'an painting school has had an influence on future generations for more than 400 years.This paper attempts to explore the causes and style characteristics of Xin'an School of landscape painting from Dai benxiao.
