剩余价值的生产和剥削是数字劳动研究的核心问题。当代传播学马克思主义的代表人物福克斯从传播政治经济学批判的视角出发,深入剖析了数字劳动中绝对剩余价值和相对剩余价值的生产过程。在其中,福克斯主要分析了互联网产消者、数字劳工贵族和传统制造业的剩余价值生产形式。他强调剩余价值具有剥削性,并且重申马克思主义政治经济学批判中阶级分析立场的重要性,这对当下数字劳动研究有一定启示意义。但需要注意的是,福克斯的剩余价值理论没有建立在历史唯物主义的基础上,因此只关注生产逻辑,而忽视了资本逻辑的基础作用。

Production and exploitation of Surplus-value has always been a key word in the research of digital labour.As a representative figure of contemporary Communication Marxism,Fuchs explains the process of production of absolute surplus-value and relative surplus-value from the perspective of Critical Political Economy of the Media and Communication and Fuchs mainly analyses the forms of the production of surplus-value about Internet Prosumer,digital labour aristocracy and traditional manufacturing industries.The surplus-value theory of Fuchs emphasizes that Surplusvalue is exploitative and reasserts the importance of class stand,which is helpful for the research of labour conditions of digital labour.It's worth noting that his theory focuses on the logic of production but overlook the foundation of the logic of capital without the basis of historical materialism.
