1919年11月,青年毛泽东在湖南《大公报》上针对赵五贞自杀事件发表的数篇评论文章充分体现了社会变革思想。从文本图景看,青年毛泽东在对此事件的评论中所表现出来的是以婚姻制度变革为代表的社会变革思想。从评论过程看,青年毛泽东的动员方式、实践指向和思想倾向都带有鲜明的个人特征,在由此事引发的湖南地方知识群体论争的潮流中具有引领、推动和深化的作用。从思想根源看,青年毛泽东的社会变革思想和引领话语的实践活动都具有深刻的学理渊源,其在该潮流中的理念表达是青年毛泽东读书思考和自身实践经历的自然流露。

In November 1919,the young Mao Zedong published several commentary articles on Zhao Wuzhen’s suicide in Hunan Ta Kung Pao which fully embodied his idea of social change.Judging from an overview of the text,young Mao Zedong’s comments on this incident show the idea of social change represented by the reform of the marriage system.From the perspective of review process,the mobilization methods,practical orientations and ideological tendencies of the young Mao Zedong all had distinct personal characteristics,and play a significant role in leading,promoting and deepening the trend of debate among local intellectual groups in Hunan triggered by this incident.In the sight of ideological roots,young Mao Zedong’s ideas of social change and the practical activities leading the discourse had profound academic origins,and the expression of his ideas in this trend is the natural expression of young Mao Zedong’s reading,thinking and his own practical experience.
