This paper introduces ChatGPT,a natural language processing technology,and explores its application scenarios in museum curation,exhibition interpretation,collection management,creative product development,and research consulting.Firstly,the paper introduces the basic composition and advantages of natural language generation and understanding in ChatGPT.Secondly,the application scenarios of this technology in museums were discussed.In order to prove the stability and applicability of the technology,this paper compared the performance of ChatGPT with that of human employees in actual application scenarios.Finally,the paper analyzes the development potential and future prospects of natural language processing technology represented by ChatGPT in the museum field,and puts forward solutions to overcome technical challenges and limitations,contributing to the high quality development of museums.
