英语学习榜样教育现状的调查与分析

An Investigation into the Current Situation of Role Model Education in English Language Learning

榜样教育相关研究在思想政治教育领域和医学教育领域成果显著,然而很少有研究关注榜样对外语教育的作用。以大学英语专业本科生和研究生为受试开展问卷调查,考察英语学习榜样的示范教育现状。研究发现,只有不到一半的受试拥有英语学习榜样;英语专业学生在选择英语学习榜样时,注重榜样的综合英语能力、英语基本功、副语言特征及个人属性;学习榜样在帮助学生树立目标、改善语言学习态度、养成良好的语言学习习惯、纠正发音、学习地道表达、增强自我效能感等方面具有重要意义。

The researches on the role model education in the field of moral education and medical education have achieved remarkable results.However,few studies have focused on the role model education in foreign languages education.Therefore,the study conducted a questionnaire survey among undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in English in a university to investigate the current situation of role model education in language learning and how to give full play to the role of English language models in foreign languages education.The study finds that fewer than half of the respondents have English language role models;English majors pay more attention to comprehensive English ability,basic English skills,paralinguistic features and personal characteristics when choosing English language models;English Language role models play an important role in helping English majors set goals,improve language learning attitudes,develop language learning habits,correct pronunciation,learn idiomatic expressions and enhance self-efficacy.
