Liquorice has been listed as food and medicine homologous products in many countries and regions of the world,and its extract has been used as a good sweetener,flavoring agent,food antioxidant,emulsifier,etc.,used in candy,jelly,preserved fruit,meat and egg products,beverages,soy sauce,fried nuts,pasta,oil and other food.This paper discusses and summarizes the management regulations of licorice and its products in food application in different countries and regions and their specific requirements and differences.
