Optical broadband network is the key information infrastructure for economic and social development in the information age.Broadband network and services have gradually penetrated into every field of economy,society and life.At the same time,accelerating the development of broadband network is of great significance to promote economic and social development and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the country.This paper only starts with the topic of the application of optical network in the autonomous local area network(LAN),and mainly introduces and discusses the two technical routes currently used in the construction of the optical Ethernet and passive optical LAN in optical LAN,so as to provide readers with reference.
