The application of BIM technology in the bridge construction stage can effectively control the quality,safety,progress and cost in the construction process.Through expounding the characteristics of bridge engineering construction,this paper analyzes the advantages of BIM technology applied in bridge construction,and deeply probes into the application of BIM technology in the construction process of quality control,safety early warning,process measurement and payment and green construction,so as to promote the application of BIM in the construction stage of bridge engineering.
