英语专业文学方向课程体系建设刍议

On the Construction of Literature Courses in the English Curriculum

文学方向课程对于培养英语专业学生的语言审美能力、共情能力、联想能力、跨文化沟通能力和可持续发展能力具有重要作用,从低年级专业核心课程的英语文学导论,到选修课程的诗歌、散文、小说、戏剧及文学史课程,再到高年级文学批评方法类课程,构建了文学方向横向与纵向交错的课程矩阵,以进阶性、延展性与立体性为特征,不断优化英语专业文学方向课程体系。

Literature courses play an important role in cultivating students’linguistic and aesthetic competence,empathy,association competence,cross-cultural competence and sustainabledevelopment competence.Literature courses that range from the major-courses like Introduction to English Literature to the electives of poetry,prose,novel,drama and literary history,and then to the senior literary criticism courses,jointly construct a horizontal and vertical interlocking course matrix.The literature-course matrix has optimized the English curriculum,due to its progressiveness,extensibility,and three-dimensionality.
