Analyzing English Translation of China-specific Vocabulary through Eco-translatology-A Case Study of 2022 Government Work Report of Jiangsu Province

中国特色话语集中体现了独特的民族文化传统,深刻反映了时代变迁和社会进步的现实,其英译对国家形象构建具有重要的现实意义。基于此,文章从生态翻译学的理论视角出发,以2022年江苏省政府工作报告为研究对象,通过典型译例,分析中国特色话语英译中的多维转换,旨在为外宣翻译实践提供借鉴和参考。

The English translation of China-specific discourse,which mirrors the unique national cultural tradi-tion and witnesses the rapid changes of times and social progress,has certain cultural connotation and characteris-tics.Moreover,its English version is of great practical significance to the construction of national identity.This paper adopts Eco-translatology as the theoretical perspective,takes the 2022 Government Work Report of Jiangsu as the research object,and analyzes the multidimensional transformation in the English translation of China-specif-ic discourse through typical examples,aiming to provide reference for the practice of publicity translation.
