This article introduces the development process of TV synchronization signals from the black-and-white television era to the present ultra high definition television,and in combination with the synchronization transformation project of the TV broadcasting system of Tianjin Haihe media center,expounds in detail the practical application of synchronization signals in the high definition simulcast system before the transformation and the shortcomings of this method,as well as the application of synchronization signals in the ultra high definition and high definition simulcast systems under the mixed baseband and IP architecture after the transformation and the issues that should be paid attention to.
